•Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Water Mitigation Technician, Drywaller, and Painter — a vital role dedicated to restoring properties affected by water damage, flooding, fire, mold, and other disasters. In this energetic position, you will be at the forefront of emergency response efforts, providing expert mitigation, drying, drywall installation, and painting services. Your proactive approach and commitment to safety will help clients recover swiftly and confidently from unforeseen incidents. Duties Respond promptly to emergency calls for water damage, flood, fire restoration, and mold remediation projects. Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification using specialized equipment to prevent further property damage. Install drywall panels efficiently, ensuring proper fit and finish for seamless repairs. Apply paint and finishing techniques to restore surfaces to their original condition or better. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and scaffolding safely while adhering to all safety protocols including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and respiratory protection. Conduct mold assessments and asbestos abatement procedures when necessary, following industry standards. Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation to job sites while maintaining compliance with safety policies. Document job progress accurately and maintain detailed records of work performed. Assist with cleaning work areas during and after projects to ensure a safe and tidy environment for clients and team members. Collaborate with team members on construction tasks and ensure on-call coverage for urgent restoration needs. Qualifications Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and company vehicles confidently. Strong understanding of safety protocols including PPE use and respiratory protection standards. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward helping clients through stressful situations. Willingness to be on-call for emergency response coverage outside regular hours. Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
