Key Responsibilities Measure and Cut:

Read blueprints and measure spaces to cut drywall panels to exact dimensions using utility knives and saws.

Install Panels:

Secure drywall sheets to wood or metal studs using power screwdrivers, nail guns, and/or adhesives.

Prepare Surfaces:

Set up scaffolding, ladders, or stilts safely to reach high walls and ceilings.

Coordinate Work:

Work alongside other trades (electricians, plumbers, and finishers) to ensure openings for outlets and pipes are cut accurately.

Safety Compliance:

Maintain a clean work area and follow all OSHA and site safety guidelines. Job Requirements Proven experience as a drywall hanger or completion of a trade apprenticeship. Physical stamina to lift heavy drywall sheets and stand, bend, or climb for long periods. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
