Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately determine project scope and specifications Perform specialized painting tasks including industrial coating, stucco application, plastering, and restoration work Execute caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and masonry repairs to enhance surface durability and aesthetics Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed for efficient job completion Conduct renovation projects involving framing, drywall installation, carpentry (including trim carpentry), and concrete finishing Maintain safety standards on construction sites by using proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to protocols Collaborate with team members on schematics interpretation and construction schematics for precise execution Assist with maintenance tasks around the site as needed, including handyman services and general repairs Requirements Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting, or industrial coating environments Strong knowledge of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects Skilled in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, caulking guns, and power tools for various applications Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately Familiarity with plastering techniques, stucco application, masonry work, and restoration processes Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety regulations and protocols Basic math skills for measurements and estimations during project planning Hands-on experience with carpentry including frame carpentry and trim carpentry is preferred Knowledge of construction estimating for material needs and project timelines is advantageous Ability to operate welding equipment or perform welding tasks is a plus but not required Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality finishes Valid driver's license or reliable transportation is preferred Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship!
