Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Billards Table Installation & Felt Repair Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise installation, maintenance, and repair of billiards tables, ensuring optimal playability and aesthetic appeal. We are looking for quailified 1099 sub contractors. Your expertise will help clients enjoy high-quality gaming experiences by delivering expert craftsmanship and exceptional service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of tools and materials, contributing to the restoration and enhancement of billiards environments. We also have Hot Tub Installation and Minor handyman jobs available' Responsibilities Install new billiards tables according to schematics, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications, ensuring proper alignment and stability. Repair and replace felt surfaces on existing tables, utilizing fabricating skills and hand tools for a seamless finish. Perform frame carpentry tasks such as reassembling or reinforcing table frames using power tools and hand tools. Conduct surface leveling, re-caulking, and re-stretching of felt to maintain optimal playing conditions. Use construction estimating skills to assess project scope, materials needed, and time requirements for each job. Handle heavy lifting safely when moving or installing large tables or components on-site. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines for client documentation. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on carpentry, fixture installation, or restoration industry roles. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams related to billiards table assembly. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment necessary for precise repairs and installations. Familiarity with construction estimating, framing, metal stud framing, drywall repair, and finishing techniques such as plastering or painting is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various environments while adhering to safety protocols. Experience with water damage restoration or mold remediation is a plus but not required. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in fabricating custom parts or repairing existing components. Valid experience in working on construction or remodeling projects involving flooring installation, tile laying, or masonry is advantageous.
