Electrical Apprentice

Job Overview At Tyler Electric Company (TEC), we're looking for a motivated Electrician Trainee who wants to grow in the electrical trade and build a long-term career. This position is ideal for someone dependable, hardworking, and eager to learn residential, commercial, and service electrical work in the field alongside experienced electricians and foremen. What You'll Do Assist electricians and foremen with daily electrical tasks Load/unload materials and organize company vehicles Pull wire, install devices, conduit, panels, and lighting Help maintain clean and safe job sites Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Follow instructions and complete tasks with urgency and professionalism Learn residential, commercial, and troubleshooting/service work Provide support with material handling, inventory, and jobsite prep Communicate with team members and management throughout the day Requirements Valid California Driver's License Reliable transportation to and from job sites Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments Positive attitude and willingness to learn Dependable and punctual Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team Basic hand tools preferred Electrical experience is a plus, but not required Preferred Qualifications ET Card (Electrical Trainee Card) preferred or willingness to obtain one Construction or electrical experience Experience with residential or commercial projects OSHA certifications are a plus What We Offer Opportunity for growth within the company Hands-on field experience Exposure to residential, commercial, and service work Supportive team environment Steady full-time work Opportunity to learn from experienced electricians and foremen About TEC Tyler Electric Company is a growing electrical contractor serving the High Desert and surrounding areas.
