ONE ROLE WEST PALM/ 1 BROWARD / 1 TRAVEL ROLE

We are currently seeking elevator service helpers to join our team. In this role, you will assist elevator mechanics with various tasks. Experience is preferred but not required, as we are willing to train the right candidate. We are hiring for all departments, including modernization, new construction, inspections, and repair/service. Responsibilities Assist lead mechanics in the service and maintenance of elevators. Handle and organize tools, equipment, and materials needed for each project. Conduct inspections, lubrication, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance. Assist in diagnosing and resolving operational issues with elevators. Prepare work areas by setting up safety barriers and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations. Maintain records of work performed, including service logs and part replacements. Communicate effectively with supervisors, mechanics, and clients about project progress. Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and safe at all times. Participate in safety training and adhere to industry standards. Operate power tools, hand tools, and lifting equipment safely and efficiently. Assist in emergency elevator repairs and after-hours service calls as needed. Essential Skills Mechanical aptitude. General labor experience. Experience with hand tools and power tools. Ability to read schematics and understand electrical concepts. Basic math skills. Problem-solving ability. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have reliable transportation. Ability to pass a drug test. Valid driver's license or ID and SSI card required. Ability to lift 50+ pounds. Comfortable working at heights. Ability to work in standing positions for extended periods. Familiarity with metric and English units of measure. Skilled in assembling products that meet quality standards. Prior experience in assembling electrical or similar products preferred. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
