Construction Resources is seeking an Install Helper to support our fireplace installation team in residential construction projects. In this hands-on role, you'll assist lead installers with site preparation, material handling, measurements, and component fitting to ensure safe, code-compliant, and visually precise fireplace installs. You'll work directly on job sites, operate basic hand and power tools, maintain clean and safe work areas, and interact professionally with builders and homeowners. Responsibilities Assist lead installer with residential fireplace installations from prep through finish Load, unload, and stage materials, tools, and equipment at job sites Measure, cut, and fit components according to specs and safety standards Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area on site and in vehicles Follow all safety procedures and use PPE and tools correctly Communicate professionally with customers, builders, and teammates Document work performed and report issues or delays to the lead installer Support warehouse and staging tasks as needed between installs Required Skills Fireplace installation Hand and power tool use Construction safety practices Measurement and layout Material handling Basic carpentry Reading work orders Job site cleanup Customer service Teamwork
