Job Description
Gilmore Electric LLC, a respected name in new residential construction, is actively seeking dedicated and eager individuals to join our expanding team as Electrician's Helpers and Laborers. This presents a foundational opportunity for those aspiring to build a career in the electrical trade, offering invaluable hands-on experience and skill development under the direct mentorship of our seasoned supervisors. Successful candidates will serve as a vital support system to our licensed electricians across a variety of new residential building projects. Key responsibilities for these roles include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with the precise installation of electrical circuits, including pulling and routing wires and cables according to electrical plans.
- Performing essential tasks such as drilling for overhead lighting, installing various fixtures, and mounting electrical boxes and enclosures.
- Supporting the installation of electrical devices and other system components.
- Ensuring all job sites are maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Strictly adhering to all company safety protocols and industry standards.
- Collaborating effectively within a team environment to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule. Our company's expertise is focused exclusively on new residential construction. Current project locations are concentrated in the Canonsburg and Allison Park areas. To be considered for these essential positions, applicants are required to possess:
- A valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from various job sites.
- A basic set of personal hand tools, such as a hammer, tool belt/pouch, utility knife, measuring tape, and basic screwdrivers, at the time of hire.
- While prior experience in electrical work or general construction is highly valued, a strong work ethic, a proactive willingness to learn, and a commitment to safety are paramount.
