Day Shift Help for . JPD Electric is looking for a dependable and motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, wants to learn the electrical trade, and is willing to work hard as part of a team. Responsibilities
Assist journeyman electricians with residential and commercial electrical work
Install and troubleshoot electrical wiring, devices, fixtures, panels, and equipment
Learn and follow the National Electrical Code and applicable local codes
Safely use hand and power tools
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Load, unload, and maintain tools and materials
Follow all company safety procedures
Perform other duties as assigned by the lead electrician or supervisor
Qualifications
Previous electrical experience is a plus, but willing to train the right person
Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, outdoors, and other job-site and weather conditions
Must be able to lift and carry materials and equipment
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
