Job Description
Blue Pine Custom Lighting is looking for an installation technician assistant to work in Northern Utah (SLC to Logan) We are a fast growing company that installs an industry leading permanent holiday track lighting solution, called Gemstone Lights. We also install seasonal Christmas lights from September through December. This is a year round position working outside. Experience working in a variety of trades will be beneficial, but NOT required. Some examples of trade experience that would be valuable include; siding, soffit, gutter installers, electrical, finish carpentry, sheet metal work or anything else with an attention to detail and working with your hands, or working from ladders. This position is paid hourly at a starting rate of $17 and then performance based raises up to $20, with the opportunity to become a crew lead where you are paid by the foot of track installed. Performance based bonuses are paid out regularly. As your skills improve so does your pay. An assistant is paired up with a crew lead or the owners of the company. The job locations vary each day, and the assistant and crew lead typically meet at the beginning of the day and carpool in a company vehicle to each jobsite. Experience working from ladders Customer service experience Ability to navigate a smartphone and train clients how to use apps Extreme attention to detail Ability to work outside in varied weather conditions Must have drivers license with good record Drug free Pass criminal background check Ability to work alone and with others We strive to create a workplace where everyone is fulfilled financially and by the satisfaction of a job well done.
