Valid Journeyman License from Alaska or reciprocating states Proficiency with the national electrical code and local codes Valid driver's license and clean driving record for the past three years Successful completion of a criminal background check Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Install new or modify electrical installations in compliance with local and national codes, emphasizing efficiency and safety. Read and interpret plans, blueprints, diagrams, and specifications for electrical wiring projects. Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, wiring, and equipment for low voltage systems. Inspect electrical components for wear and defects, ensuring reliable and safe operation. Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions, repairing or replacing damaged components as needed. Prepare and present sketches showing location of wiring and equipment. Demonstrate proficiency in using various test equipment utilized in the trade. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety and professionalism. Maintain open and effective communications with customers, team members, and other trades involved in projects. Work collaboratively with fellow employees and contractors to complete tasks efficiently and effectively. Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to junior team members, effectively leading work crews. Exhibit initiative, independence, and self-starting capabilities while managing tasks. Ensure proper handling, installation, and accountability of all equipment, tools, materials. Manage inventory and ensure adequate supplies are available on company vehicle and at job sites. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner. Maintain clean and orderly work sites and assigned Company vehicles, protecting equipment from damage. Demonstrate strict adherence to applicable safety standards, including OSHA regulations and company policies. Possess basic computer and mobile app proficiency to effectively utilize technology tools.
