00 AM - 3:30 PM Marine Electrician I This position is located on shite in our Bayou La Batre, AL shipyard Our electricians are an integral piece of our work on a daily basis. Join the Birdon team and help ensure USCG boats are safe and reliable!Roles and Responsibilities:
Distinguish colors on Multi-Conductor Cable and understand color codes. Connect Single Phase and Three Phase Motors. Can connect Single and Three Phase Transformers. Proper operation of ABT and MBT. Work with all voltages in AC Power Distribution up to 1000Volts. Parallel circuitry in both AC and DC. Connect Generators, check phase rotation of Generator, and parallel Generators. Change rotation on a three-phase motor. Knows proper sizes of Motor Starters (NEMA Ratings). Can check amp draw on equipment. Can trouble shoot wiring and equipment. Can troubleshoot MSLC and DSLC circuits. Terminates and understand PLC Circuits and Motor controllers.Qualifications / Skills
/Experience:
