Commercial Electrical / New Construction Job Description We are looking for skilled and dependable Commercial Electricians to perform electrical installation work on new commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in commercial electrical construction and be comfortable installing, wiring, terminating, and troubleshooting electrical systems. This is a hands-on field position for electricians who take pride in their work, understand electrical plans and specifications, and can complete installations safely, accurately, and efficiently. Responsibilities Install electrical wiring and electrical systems for new commercial construction Install and wire outlets, switches, panels, lighting, fixtures, and other electrical equipment Measure, lay out, and properly position electrical components Install and terminate electrical wiring according to project specifications Follow applicable National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements and project standards Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and construction plans Install conduit, wiring, electrical devices, and related components Perform electrical connections and terminations Verify installations are properly installed and meet project requirements Work with other electrical trades and construction personnel to coordinate installations Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures Complete work efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail Qualifications Previous commercial electrical experience is required Experience with new commercial construction electrical installation Ability to install electrical wiring, systems, devices, and equipment Experience installing outlets, switches, panels, lighting, and electrical components Ability to accurately measure, lay out, and position electrical components Ability to install and terminate electrical wiring according to specifications and electrical codes Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams Strong understanding of commercial electrical installation practices Ability to use common electrical hand and power tools Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Commitment to working safely and following jobsite requirements What We're Looking For We are looking for electricians who know commercial construction and can step onto a jobsite ready to work.
