Our team of dedicated professionals is committed to delivering high-quality products and services, and we are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Technician at AMAC, you will play a critical role in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems for mobile equipment. You will ensure that all wiring, harness construction, and system installations meet our stringent quality and safety standards. This position requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who excels at troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Wire electrical panels and components according to detailed schematics and diagrams. Build, install, and test wiring harnesses for mobile equipment. Install electrical systems including power distribution, control systems, and communication systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues; perform repairs as needed. Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to ensure seamless system integration. Follow industry standards, safety protocols, and company procedures at all times. Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance. Document all work performed, including wiring layouts and troubleshooting logs. Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians or apprentices as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in electrical systems preferred. Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in electrical panel wiring, harness building, and system installation, preferably in mobile, heavy, or industrial equipment environments. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documents. Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and hand tools. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with electrical safety standards and regulations. Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
