Journeyman Electrician:

Complete service calls for residential and commercial electrical projects. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in residential and commercial settings. Repair and replace outlets, switches, breakers, light fixtures, and perform service changes and panel upgrades. Must be able to independently handle all aspects of the project in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Complete electrical scopes of work on new construction and renovation projects. Must be able to work by themselves in occupied and unoccupied environments as well as work with other team members. Provide on-site estimates to customers using our company pricebook. Clearly explain problems, options, and pricing to customers as well as other team members. Follow all NEC, electrical, and construction safety procedures. Keep your company vehicle, tools, and work areas clean and organized. Represent Shepherd Electric professionally on every job. What We're Looking For 2+ years of electrical service experience (required) Residential electrical experience (required) Commercial experience (a plus) Alabama Journeyman Electrician license (a plus) Ability to work independently and manage a job from start to finish Strong communication and customer service skills Punctual, professional, and neat in appearance A team player with a genuine desire to learn and grow Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must pass a background check and drug screen Physical Requirements Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain Lift and carry heavy materials and equipment Work in tight spaces such as attics and crawlspaces Climb ladders and stand, kneel, or bend for extended periods Properly use required PPE at all times Candidate must be able to perform all functions of the position to be considered.
