Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This role involves performing residential and commercial electrical work, including rough-ins and service repairs. The ideal candidate will be capable of leading an apprentice, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring all work meets safety standards and code requirements. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects in a professional environment dedicated to quality craftsmanship. Duties Conduct residential and commercial electrical rough-ins, ensuring proper installation of wiring, outlets, switches, and panels. Perform service work, diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical problems efficiently and safely. Lead and mentor apprentices, providing guidance on best practices and safety procedures. Ensure all electrical work complies with local codes, regulations, and safety standards. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate work schedules and project requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Complete detailed documentation of work performed for project records. Qualifications Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification. Proven experience in residential and commercial electrical installations and repairs. Ability to perform rough-ins independently with minimal supervision. Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing complex electrical issues. Leadership experience or capability to lead an apprentice effectively. Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 45.0 per week
