  • Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician with 4+ years experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical systems, blueprint reading, and construction sites. If you are a detail-oriented professional with a passion for electrical work, we encourage you to apply.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment including wiring, transformers, switchgear, motors, and other electrical components.
Bend and install various types of conduit, including EMT, rigid, and PVC. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems and recommend solutions. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical diagrams. Install electrical systems according to industry standards and regulations. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure they are following safety regulations and standards. Coordinate with other trades and contractors on construction sites to ensure timely completion of projects. Train and mentor apprentices and other electricians. Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed. Adhere to our internal tool policy and demonstrate a proactive willingness to invest in and maintain the necessary tools required for the trade.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading for electrical installations
  • Experience in frame carpentry and maintenance person tasks
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrician practices
  • Ability to use voltmeters and ohmmeters effectively
  • Skilled in building logic controllers for various applications
  • Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety measures 32-36/hr Contract to hire
