Respect & Trust Each Other Be Proud Of What We Do Keep The Customer At The Heart Of What We Do Get It Right, Keep It Right Job Summary The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment throughout the manufacturing facility. This position supports production by ensuring electrical systems operate safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime, and maintaining compliance with food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards. The Maintenance Electrician will perform advanced electrical troubleshooting on production equipment, controls, motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), electrical distribution systems, and automation components, while also providing support for mechanical and facility maintenance activities as needed.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following, but are not limited to: Electrical Systems & Controls Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical failures on production and facility equipment. Install, maintain, and repair motors, motor starters, contactors, relays, overloads, disconnects, and electrical distribution equipment. Troubleshoot and repair VFDs, sensors, control circuits, PLC-related components, and automation equipment. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and blueprints. Wire and install electrical components and equipment according to applicable codes and safety standards. Perform voltage, current, continuity, and resistance testing using electrical diagnostic equipment. Assist with equipment startups, shutdowns, and commissioning activities. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and production equipment. Inspect machinery and electrical components to identify potential issues before failures occur. Complete work orders, maintenance records, and preventive maintenance documentation accurately. Research and identify replacement parts and materials as needed. Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Mechanical & Facility Support Assist with maintenance and repair of pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, pneumatic systems, and other manufacturing equipment. Support facility maintenance projects and equipment installations. Work collaboratively with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to maximize production efficiency.QUALIFICATIONS
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, motors, VFDs, and electrical distribution equipment. Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read and understand technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment including multimeters, amp probes, and diagnostic tools. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum three years of industrial maintenance experience required. Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems required. Experience in food manufacturing or food processing environments preferred. Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced production environment.PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS
