In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems within industrial environments. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of complex electrical equipment, industrial machinery, and control systems. Under direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, you will also assist in performing daily activities in maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of facility machinery. Your proactive approach and technical proficiency will contribute significantly to our operational excellence and safety compliance. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage controls. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system modifications. Perform electrical diagnostics Maintain compliance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes during all installation and repair activities. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure safety procedures are followed and equipment functions optimally. Assist with renovation projects by updating or replacing outdated electrical wiring and components in industrial or commercial settings. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely to complete electrical work efficiently on construction sites or manufacturing facilities. Communicate with Department Supervisors on status updates. Maintain and secure work tools. Clean and maintain work area. Other duties as assigned. Skills Extensive experience as an industrial electrician with a strong background in commercial electrical systems. Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical systems Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical safety procedures. Skilled in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and blueprints reading for accurate installation and repairs. Experience working with high-voltage electrical wiring, low-voltage systems, and industrial electrical infrastructure. Familiarity with general handyman skills. Ability to operate power tools safely while adhering to all safety protocols for construction or industrial environments. Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
