Job Description

- Posted on August 18, 2026 Published By Roberto Venegas Trillium Construction is now hiring Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians in the Delano, CA area! Work will take place in an industrial food processing setting. Licensed Journeyman pay is up to $50 an hour based on experience
- A California Journeyman Electrician license is required to qualify for the $50/hour rate.
Journeyman Duties:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.
- Perform conduit installation, wire pulls, terminations, and equipment connections.
- Troubleshoot electrical and control systems.
- Work around industrial production and food-processing equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and specifications.
- Follow applicable electrical codes, safety procedures, and facility requirements.
- Work alongside other electricians, maintenance personnel, and facility staff.
Apprentice Duties:
- Assist journeyman electricians with industrial electrical installation and maintenance.
- Assist with conduit installation, wire pulls, terminations, and equipment installation.
- Help troubleshoot and maintain industrial electrical systems.
- Assist with electrical work around food-processing and production equipment.
- Safely use electrical hand and power tools.
- Read and follow electrical drawings, plans, and schematics.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all facility, company, and job-site safety requirements.
Apprentice Requirements:
- 1-4 years of electrical experience preferred.
- Must have some industrial electrical experience.
- Manufacturing, food processing, production, or similar industrial experience is a plus.
- Basic understanding of electrical tools, materials, and installation practices.
- Ability to follow direction from journeyman electricians and foremen.
- Willingness to learn and develop industrial electrical skills.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Commitment to working safely in an active food-processing facility. Journeyman Requirements
- 5+ years of industrial electrical experience.
- Strong industrial electrical background; manufacturing, food processing, production, or similar environments preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot and work independently on industrial electrical systems.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical equipment, controls, and systems.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Commitment to working safely in an active food-processing facility.
