Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service Electrician to join our team. The Service Electrician will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in both residential and commercial properties. This role requires an individual with excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Duties Diagnose and Repair Electrical Systems:

Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues including wiring problems, circuit malfunctions, and faulty electrical components in residential and commercial properties.

Install Electrical Equipment:

Install and replace lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, electrical panels, and other electrical devices as needed.

Maintenance and Inspections:

Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure they meet safety codes and regulations. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems.

Customer Service:

Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing clear explanations of issues and recommendations for repairs or improvements.

Code Compliance:

Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any parts replaced. Complete service reports and billing documentation.

Emergency Response:

Respond to emergency service calls, performing urgent repairs and ensuring systems are safely restored to operation.

Safety:

Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment, including the use of appropriate safety gear.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other electricians, apprentices, and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Continued Learning:

Stay updated on the latest electrical technologies, tools, and code changes. Experience Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuit troubleshooting. Proficiency in using electrical tools and equipment, such as multimeters, wire strippers, and conduit benders. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
