Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are currently searching for a seasoned and dedicated Electrician to join our fast-growing Solar, Batteries, EV Charger & more company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing solar batteries, performing service panel upgrades, installing Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers, along with other projects. This role will require advanced knowledge in electrical systems and dedication to outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
Install and commission solar battery storage systems and EV chargers. Bend conduit and mark out a battery installation to create aesthetically appealing and functional installations. Perform service upgrades, including safely disconnecting and reconnecting electrical services. Execute maintenance checks and troubleshooting on existing systems to ensure optimal operation. Complete quality control inspections, identifying any necessary repairs or modifications, and ensuring job site cleanup. Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work area. Coordinate with the team and other professionals to ensure installations are completed on time and to specification. Provide outstanding customer service, explaining the functionality of systems to customers, and answering any queries.
Qualifications:
A valid CA Electrician license (J-card) is highly preferred. Proven experience as an electrician in the residential or commercial industry. Experience in the solar industry is a plus. Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals. Knowledge of electrical systems including new build and existing service panel upgrades. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex electrical systems in simple terms. A valid driver's license. Physically able to perform the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in diverse weather conditions.
