9677838-93433 Job Description Step into a rewarding school-based contract role as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, supporting student health and wellness in a vibrant educational community near Grover Beach, CA. Engage with a dedicated LVN pool, working closely alongside school staff and students in an onsite environment. The assignment covers the regular academic year, with the opportunity to sign up for additional Extended School Year (ESY) hours if desired.

Qualifications and Experience:

Active California LVN license required Previous experience supporting children or adolescents in a healthcare or educational setting is highly valued Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across school teams Ability to handle a dynamic environment and manage multiple student health needs efficiently Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining students well-being

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct health care services to students as part of the LVN pool, ensuring consistent nursing support throughout the school day Provide medication administration, routine health care, and first aid according to individual student health plans Support case management and maintain accurate documentation of all care provided Collaborate with faculty, families, and allied school professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to student health Maintain confidentiality and adhere to state health and safety regulations at all times Enjoy a steady weekday schedule with 32.5 hours per week during the regular school year, working 6.5-hour shifts each day onsite.
