Location:
Lost Hills, CA Pay Rate:
$45.00-75.00 per hour
DOE Schedule:
Day Shift (Overtime, weekends, and evenings as needed)

Full-Time Position Overview Key Staffing is currently recruiting for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join a growing industrial operation in Lost Hills, CA. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong industrial electrical experience, advanced troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to workplace safety. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components including wiring, conduit, motors, transformers, circuit breakers, and control panels. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment. Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime. Diagnose and repair PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, and industrial automation systems. Plan and execute electrical upgrades and modifications to improve operational efficiency. Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams on new equipment installations and system improvements. Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and federal regulations, including National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards. Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair logs, and system documentation. Prepare reports regarding equipment performance, repairs, and safety-related incidents. Operate electrical testing and diagnostic equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and thermal imaging cameras. Provide guidance and support to maintenance personnel and junior electricians as needed. Assist with employee training programs related to electrical systems and safety procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Completion of a formal electrical apprenticeship program or technical training preferred. Valid California Journeyman or Master Electrician License required. Minimum of 5 years of industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing, processing, or industrial environment. Experience with Arc Flash Protection and electrical safety procedures. Strong knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, and industrial automation systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Thorough understanding of NEC requirements and applicable safety regulations. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules when operational needs require. Travel Requirements Ability and willingness to travel out of state for temporary training assignments. Physical Requirements Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. Exposure to industrial environments, moving machinery, dust, and potentially hazardous materials. Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Walk and stand for extended periods of time. Climb ladders, stairs, and industrial equipment as needed. Ability to climb a minimum of two stories of stairs. Ability to work in elevated and confined spaces when necessary. Additional Requirements Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical examination. Valid Driver's License required. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Why Apply?
