About the Position Creative Lighting & Electrical, Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Service Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled, state‑certified Journeyman Electrician who thrives in fast‑paced service environments and takes pride in delivering top‑tier workmanship. You'll handle a wide range of commercial service calls across Southern California, representing our company with professionalism and technical expertise. Minimum Requirements 8+ years of electrical experience in commercial environments State‑certified Journeyman Electrician (California) Clean DMV record (required for operating company vehicles) Proven experience as a Commercial Service Electrician Willingness to travel throughout Southern California , including LA, Orange County, Riverside, San Diego, and surrounding areas Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently Excellent communication and customer‑service mindset Key Responsibilities Perform commercial electrical service calls, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations Diagnose electrical issues quickly and accurately Work directly with customers, property managers, and general contractors Complete job documentation, service tickets, and reports Ensure all work meets NEC, state, and local code requirements Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean working order Represent the company with professionalism and integrity on every job Preferred Skills Experience with lighting systems, controls, and commercial power distribution Ability to read and interpret blueprints, one‑lines, and technical diagrams Strong understanding of commercial service workflows and customer expectations Comfort working independently in the field with minimal supervision What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Company vehicle (for qualified drivers) Steady year‑round work across Southern California Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth

$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
