Position Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Electrician performs safety preventive maintenance on electrical and control systems to include disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and calibration You will troubleshoot and diagnose electrical maintenance issues in industrial equipment and processes proper instruments appropriate to the voltages and currents encountered Maintenance Electricians obtain one-lines, drawings, instructional manuals, special procedures, and create additional sketched and diagrams to clarify the intent of the work order This role also runs tests on equipment, isolates problems, replaces faulty sections of wiring and lays conduit As part of the selection process, candidates must successfully pass a technical skills assessment evaluating industrial electrical troubleshooting, controls systems, instrumentation, PLC diagnostics, motor controls, VFDs, automation technologies, and advanced maintenance practices. Additional job-related technical knowledge, troubleshooting abilities, and role-specific competencies may also be assessed based on operational needs, equipment, systems, and facility requirements. Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 0 to 2 years of related experience Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Education and Experience:
Electrical Certification or Vocational Certification
