Job Summary:
Bell Brothers is seeking a skilled Residential Electrical Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing electrical systems and components in residential settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday Key Responsibilities:
Perform electrical service calls, including troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues in residential homes. Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes. Provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with clients regarding their electrical needs and solutions. Conduct inspections and assessments of electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure safety. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job. Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient job completion. Stay up-to-date with industry standards, trends, and safety practices.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Residential Electrical Certification Required Valid electrical license or certification as required by state regulations. Proven experience as an electrical technician or electrician, preferably in residential services. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and safety protocols. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various physical conditions. Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights as required. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
