Job Summary The job of Maintenance Electrician - Skilled is done for the purpose/s of installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems; identifying repair and/or replacement needs; providing necessary information on the proper uses of the equipment; and ensuring adequate materials are available to complete assignments in a timely manner.

Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

Job related experience within specialized field is required with 3 years experience as an Electrician with increasing responsibility. Ability to perform skilled journeyman level electrical work of new or existing buildings, diagnose, repair and replace components in electrical systems; install low and high voltage electrical systems, and maintaining a preventive maintenance program. Knowledge of methods, materials & equipment used in maintenance & repair of electrical equipment; applicable codes, regulations & safety practices. High School Diploma or equivalent. Passing score must be achieved on a written exam.
