- Associate degree in a related field required (Bachelor's degree preferred). OR Three years of progressively responsible experience in risk management, workers' compensation, employee benefits, human resources, safety compliance, insurance administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of risk management, workers' compensation, leave administration, employee benefits, insurance programs, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to analyze information, prepare reports, interpret laws and regulations, and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Valid California Driver's License and proof of insurability.
- Successful fingerprint/background clearance and TB clearance
- Two(2) Letters of Recommendation A completed Employment Application.
QUALIFIED APPLICANTS WILL BE INVITED TO A FUTURE EXAMINATION A PASSING SCORE IS REQUIRED ON THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION. EXAMS ARE COMPUTERIZED AND WILL BE HELD AT DISTRICT OFFICE IN 29 PALMS.
