This is an opportunity to take on an important role with a locally owned Northern Colorado company. We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing things correctly, understands the importance of safety and code compliance, and wants to help build a strong electrical department. What You'll Do Perform and oversee residential and light commercial electrical work Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems and equipment Complete electrical work related to HVAC installations and replacements Ensure all work meets NEC, state, and local code requirements Coordinate permits, inspections, and required documentation Serve as MGI's Master Electrician when required Provide guidance and oversight to journeyman electricians and apprentices Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, inspectors, and coworkers Maintain safe, clean, and organized jobsites Help develop procedures and support the growth of MGI's electrical department What We're Looking For Active Colorado Master Electrician license required Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and Colorado electrical requirements Proven residential and light commercial electrical experience Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to lead projects and provide technical guidance Professional communication and customer-service skills Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Legally authorized to work in the United States Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independently or as part of a team What MGI Offers $100,000 to $125,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications Full-time, year-round work Benefits available after 90 days Health and dental insurance Paid holidays Paid vacation and sick time Company vehicle for qualified employees Team gatherings and company activities A supportive, down-to-earth work environment The opportunity to help build and grow an electrical department Long-term career growth with a locally owned company At MGI, you are more than a number.
