An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description
PLC/SCADA
technicians. Coordinate daily work with foremen, project managers, operators, other trades, and subcontractors to maintain schedule, quality, and safe work practices. Maintain clean and organized work areas and document completed work, field changes, testing results, material needs, and issues affecting system performance. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of industrial electrical construction methods, materials, and equipment. Ability to bend and install conduit, pull wire, make terminations, and troubleshoot electrical systems independently. Working knowledge of motors, MCCs, VFDs, control circuits, and industrial power distribution. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, one-lines, and control drawings. Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, time management, and attention to detail. Safety Follow OSHA requirements, NFPA 70E practices, lockout/tagout (LOTO), arc-flash procedures, confined-space rules, fall protection, and site-specific safety requirements. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain awareness of hazards associated with chemicals, water, rotating equipment, energized systems, and active plant operations. Immediately report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, incidents, and near misses to site supervision. Physical Demands & Work Environment Work on active industrial construction sites and operating wastewater treatment facilities in indoor and outdoor environments. Regularly stand, walk, climb ladders and stairs, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and work overhead for extended periods. Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and safely handle tools, materials, conduit, cable, and equipment. Work around noise, dust, moisture, chemicals, uneven surfaces, moving equipment, and changing weather conditions. Must be able to work a 40-50 hour week, including overtime as project schedules require. Minimum Qualifications Education, Work Experience & Requirements At least four (4) years of commercial and/or industrial electrical construction experience required. Industrial or wastewater treatment plant electrical experience strongly preferred. Journeyman electrician license or equivalent qualification preferred where required by the project or jurisdiction. High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and electrical test equipment. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to project sites throughout the Northern area as required.
