$32.50 - $36.00
JOB SUMMARY :
This position will oversee production to enable plant productivity and maintenance and the delivery of quality products to customers in an efficient manner, performing various manual tasks around the plant. Essentials Functions Will supervise aggregate plant and dry plant operation with a focus on Safety, Production, and the Environment. Will control and generate plant productivity reports, ensure workplace compliance of company policy & procedures, and make recommendations for increased production and repairs. Manage aggregate production to ensure goals and objectives are met. Responsible for maintenance and repair of all mobile and stationary equipment. Ensures that the workforce complies with policies, procedures, and regulations to produce a productive labor climate at plant facilities. Direct supervision of others including but not limited to employee on-the-job training and safety training. Equipment repair and preventative maintenance Interact with vendors and employees. Maintain a high degree of customers satisfaction and employee morale through problem solving. Ensure a safe working environment through daily inspections and monthly safety meetings. Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years' experience in the operations of a sand and gravel pit. Experience in a supervisory capacity Knowledge of MSHA rules and regulations Knowledge of heavy equipment including but not limited to loaders, dozers, and hydraulic excavators and off-road haul trucks. Plant processing includes, but is not limited to water pumps, generators, electrical control components, vibratory screens, sand screws, conveyors, radial stackers, material washers, scales, settling basins, vibratory feeders, and log washers. Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task.
