Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure safety, compliance with electrical codes, and the seamless operation of electrical infrastructure. Duties Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations accurately. Diagnose electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot low voltage and high voltage systems efficiently. Use power tools and hand tools to perform wiring tasks, conduit bending, and fixture mounting on construction sites or renovation projects. Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrical systems to support automation processes. Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations, especially when working with high voltage or on construction sites. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades such as frame carpentry or handyman services to ensure project completion on time and within scope. Skills Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial environments with a strong understanding of NEC standards. Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for precise installations and repairs. Hands-on experience with low voltage systems, high voltage wiring, and control panels involving PLCs. Proficiency with testing instruments such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical faults accurately. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and renovation procedures. Ability to operate power tools including drills, saws, wire strippers, and conduit benders safely and effectively. Strong handyman skills complemented by experience in frame carpentry or general construction work is a plus.
