Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive electrical experience, including industrial and commercial projects, and possess the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across various construction and renovation sites, ensuring compliance with NEC standards and safety regulations. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency with hand tools, power tools, low and high voltage systems, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and low voltage wiring is highly desirable. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in industrial, commercial, and construction environments Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute electrical installations accurately Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters Work with low voltage and high voltage systems in accordance with NEC standards Install programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation components Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively Assist in renovation projects by updating or replacing existing electrical infrastructure Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety protocols Conduct inspections to ensure electrical systems meet code requirements and safety standards Requirements Proven experience of 10+ years as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong background in construction site work Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and schematic wiring diagrams Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and NEC compliance Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments such as ohmmeters effectively Experience working on renovation projects or construction sites is preferred Knowledge of frame carpentry or maintenance person skills is a plus but not required Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in troubleshooting electrical issues Ability to work safely in high voltage environments while following all safety regulations This role requires a dedicated professional committed to quality workmanship and safety standards.
