Job Description
- Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install high-voltage airfield lighting systems, including circuits, fixtures, transformers, constant current regulators, and related control systems
- Install, test, calibrate, and maintain electrical distribution systems, switchgear, motor controls, and safety systems
- Maintain and repair electrical systems throughout airport terminals and support facilities
- Support critical airport systems, including:o Passenger boarding bridgeso Baggage handling systemso Security systemso Fire protection systemso Lift stations
- Maintain and service generators and emergency power equipment
- Pull, install, terminate, and repair power and control cabling
- Respond to routine service requests and emergency electrical outages
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and identify needed repairs
- Maintain inventory of electrical materials, parts, and supplies
- Support airfield operations and coordinate work activities in secure airport areas
- Assist with operational support and hazardous materials handling as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned Skills and Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience
- Experience with electrical distribution systems, generators, and controls
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems independently
- Willing to work on-call, after-hours, and in secure operational areas as neededValid driver's license
- Ability to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance and airport access credentials
- Ability to distinguish colors and perform tasks requiring close and distance vision
