Job Description

ELECTRICIAN
An Electrician for Ken's Electrical Service, Inc. will work on electrical equipment and for residential and commercial, both existing and new construction, to install, repair, and maintain power, lighting, communications, and control systems.
Qualifications/Requirements:
High school diploma and completion of electrician apprenticeship or experience at Journeyman level Experience with generator maintenance preferred, not a requirement At least 2-5 years experience working in the field on simple and complex electrical systems Deep electrical system, power generation, blueprints, maintenance, and repair knowledge Experience in the renewable energy field a plus Valid driver's license, tools, and transportation Must have a safe driving record Must pass a drug test Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings Basic knowledge of
NEC and Ohm's Law Duties/Responsibilities:
Installing and repairing electrical controls, wiring, and lighting systems Reading technical diagrams and blueprints Performing general electrical maintenance Inspecting circuit breakers and other electrical components Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures Following National Electrical Code, state, and local building regulations Performing circuit breaker corrective maintenance Follow all instructions regarding quality of work and safety in the workplace Assist with the training and development of less experienced team members Crew leadership experience a plus Generator maintenance experience a plus
