In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of electrical systems across commercial and industrial sites. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards, local electrical codes, and industry regulations. Duties Install and wire industrial and commercial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage circuits, following electrical blueprints and schematics. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute installation plans. Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting on complex systems using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices. Perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on existing electrical infrastructure while adhering to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) compliance standards. Use hand tools and power tools safely to install conduit, wiring, panels, switches, outlets, and other electrical components on construction sites or renovation projects. Follow electrical safety procedures rigorously to prevent accidents or injuries during installation or troubleshooting activities. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong background in electrical installation and maintenance. Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), local electrical codes, and safety procedures. Experience reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and blueprints related to industrial or commercial systems. Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Ability to work with high-voltage electrical wiring safely in various environments including construction sites or renovation projects. Familiarity with industrial electrical systems, low voltage wiring, and automation components like PLCs. Construction site experience with the ability to adapt quickly to changing environments while maintaining safety standards. Strong hand tool proficiency along with the use of power tools for efficient installation work. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on precise diagnostics and effective repairs.
