The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in industrial systems, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical troubleshooting. The Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex machinery and electrical systems to ensure optimal production performance. Responsibilities Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose high voltage issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and analysis skills. Repair and calibrate equipment utilizing precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Conduct electrical diagnostics including high voltage and low voltage troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Operate industrial machinery such as scissor lifts, man lifts and perform equipment changeovers as needed. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and engineering troubleshooting documents to identify root causes of malfunctions. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance activities, and equipment history. Assist with field service tasks involving customer support for equipment repair or installation. Follow safety protocols including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system reliability and implement upgrades or modifications. Skills Extensive experience in manufacturing facility maintenance or industrial mechanic roles. Proficiency with electrical systems diagnosis, including troubleshooting electrical blueprints and schematics. Ability to work at heights on equipment such as overhead bridge cranes. Ability to operate diagnostic tools including voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and analyze electrical signals at high and low voltages. Willing to work with CMMS software for maintenance management. Mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment repair and troubleshooting pneumatic systems. Experience working with industrial electricians or in field service roles is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with customer service orientation for technical support roles. Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and engineering documentation accurately. This position requires a proactive individual capable of working independently or within a team environment while maintaining high safety standards. Candidates should have a strong foundation in electrical diagnostics, mechanical troubleshooting, and industrial maintenance practices to excel in this role.
