Summary:

A leading Heavy Equipment Rental and Service company is currently seeking a Senior Crane Technician in Atlanta, GA This company specializes in manufacturing and servicing overhead cranes in manufacturing facilities, logistics centers, airplane hangers, and water treatment plants. The role is primarily responsible for installing and performing repairs on overhead and bridge cranes' electrical, hydraulic, and electric motor systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Install conduit and wiring systems.
  • Utilize machine shop tools and equipment to fabricate, repair, and maintain parts
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues by observing equipment operations at job sites.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition.
  • Replace faulty parts and make adjustments to machinery as needed.
  • Interpret schematic designs and perform repairs in accordance with the specifications.
  • Carry out installations for key clients in various settings, including aircraft hangars, manufacturing plants, and distribution centers.
  • Take service calls to clients in the area, troubleshooting and repairing major or minor issues.
  • Respond to service calls from local clients, diagnosing and resolving both major and minor issues.
Job Requirements Qualifications:
  • at least 5 years of experience in overhead crane electrical, hydraulic, and electric motor repair.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Proficient in reading schematics, and diagnosing electrical failures in overhead systems.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record is required.
  • OSHA 30 Certificate HIGHLY preferred
Preferred:
  • Experience performing overhead crane installations is a plus.
  • Vocational/trade school is a plus.
