An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description
Duties:
- Assist with the installation and repair of commercial electrical systems
- Assist in the layout and installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes and regulations
Qualifications:
- Drivers License required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail, work ethic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces
