Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. Responsibilities Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in commercial, industrial, and construction settings. Troubleshooting Electrical repair Panel upgrades Custom-facing service work Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete electrical installations and repairs. Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices such as ohmmeters and multimeters; identify faults in low voltage and high voltage systems. Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other automation components to support industrial electrical systems. Follow all safety protocols in accordance with NEC standards; ensure proper grounding and wiring practices are maintained. Assist with renovation projects by updating existing wiring systems or installing new electrical infrastructure as needed. Present flat-rate pricing and options to homeowners Skills Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician with a strong understanding of NEC regulations. Hands-on experience with industrial electrician tasks including PLCs, schematics reading, and troubleshooting complex systems. Commercial electrician experience preferred; familiar with construction site procedures and safety standards. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and testing equipment like ohmmeters. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Knowledge of renovation processes and construction practices; capable of framing carpentry when required. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly on the job site. Excellent communication skills; able to work effectively within a team environment. Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations; ongoing commitment to safety training is a plus.
