Full Job Description Electrical Panel Builder/Assembler Location:
Elgin, IL Employment Type:

All experience levels encouraged to apply About the Position We are seeking skilled Electrical Panel Builders and Assemblers to join our team in Elgin, IL. If you have hands-on experience building control panels and reading electrical schematics, we want to hear from you! What You'll Do Build and assemble electrical control panels from engineering drawings Read and interpret NFPA and IEC electrical schematics Install and wire control components including motors, contactors, overloads, relays, E-stops, and other control devices Select and install appropriate wire sizes based on electrical requirements Follow proper color-coding standards for electrical wiring Perform quality checks to ensure panels meet specifications and safety standards Work with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment Maintain a clean and organized work area Preferrred Skills & Experience All experience levels encouraged to apply Ability to read and understand electrical schematics (NFPA and/or IEC standards) Working knowledge of electrical control principles and components, including motor starters, relays, timers, circuit breakers, etc. Understanding of fundamental electrical principles, including voltage, current, resistance, wire sizing and ampacity, electrical color-coding standards, and grounding and safety requirements. Experience with crimping, terminating, and routing wires is also helpful.
