Industrial Electrician

STS Staffing is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for Industrial Electricians . These are direct-hire opportunities with a well-established company offering competitive pay and long-term stability. The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for testing, installing, programming, maintaining, and repairing electrical and electronic equipment critical to plant operations. Job Summary /

Responsibilities:

Test, install, program, assemble, maintain, and repair electronic equipment and plant processing systems. Read and interpret electrical, electronic, and pneumatic blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Work with variable voltage DC control systems, solid state controllers, M-G sets, and rectifiers. Troubleshoot and maintain adjustable speed equipment including magnetic amplifiers, SCRs, and microprocessor/PLC-based systems. Utilize gas torch equipment safely and effectively when required. Work with interfacing devices such as thermocouples, RTDs, pressure transducers, load cells, and photoelectric devices. Troubleshoot and program Allen Bradley PLCs and control systems . Ensure compliance with safety procedures and plant operating standards.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required; technical training or certification preferred. 3-5 years of industrial electrical experience strongly preferred. Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley equipment required. Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of control systems and industrial equipment. Strong knowledge of electrical theory, control systems, and instrumentation. Ability to work independently, follow technical documentation, and support plant operations.
