Licensed Electrician Mr. Electric of Oak Park Oak Park, IL Job Details Part-time $40 - $50 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications Electrical License Electrical work permitting Driver's License Public permit project coordination Local electrical codes Full Job Description Mr. Electric of Oak Park is seeking a Licensed Electrician who is experienced with local permitting requirements and can efficiently pull electrical permits across Oak Park, River Forest, Chicago, and surrounding municipalities. This is a part time role ideal for a electrician who prefers flexible scheduling, light fieldwork, and administrative permit responsibilities rather than full time service calls.
Specific Responsibilities :
Pull electrical permits for residential and light commercial projects in Oak Park and nearby jurisdictions Coordinate with village/city building departments to ensure timely permit approval Maintain accurate records of permit applications, approvals, and inspections Communicate with office staff regarding permit status, scheduling, and required documentation Occasionally perform site visits for permit related verification or inspection readiness Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and municipal requirements
Job Requirements :
