Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Electrician with at least 3 years experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and residential settings, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols. This role requires proficiency in working with both low and high voltage systems, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Duties What You'll Do Run service calls, installs, repairs, and troubleshooting from start to finish Install and upgrade panels, circuits, fixtures, outlets, and switches Read blueprints and wiring diagrams; pull permits and work to NEC and local code Diagnose electrical problems and explain the fix to customers in plain language Keep your truck, tools, and job sites clean and organized Mentor apprentices and helpers on the crew Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with relevant codes (NEC). Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems. Ensure all work is performed safely and adheres to industry standards. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and repair tasks. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs. Skills Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or Residential Electrician. Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems. Proficiency in using voltmeters and other electrical testing equipment. Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations. Strong skills in blueprint reading for effective installation and troubleshooting. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
