POSITION PURPOSE :

Installs, maintains, and repairs both low and high voltage electrical systems in various settings. In addition to working in a healthcare setting can be often found working in construction sites, residential buildings, and commercial properties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

: Troubleshoots electrical issues and performs repairs. Installs wiring, outlets and fixtures according to local codes and regulations. Installs and maintains fire alarm systems per National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code (NFPA 72) Installs and maintains electrical distribution systems per NFPA 70

•National Electrical Code (NEC). Installs and maintains low voltage cabling systems per NFPA 70

•National Electric Code (NEC) Article 725. Operates, inspects and tests emergency and standby power generating system per

NFPA 110

•Standard for Emergency and Standby Power Systems. Responsible for the development and maintenance of the electrical safety program ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams. Collaborate with other tradespeople on job sites to resolve technical issues. An integral member of the Plant Operations and Maintenance construction team Completes the ordering of electrical field related materials required for general repairs, renovation and construction projects. Consistently demonstrates the ability to recognize, establish and deal with priorities. Performs assigned preventative maintenance.

SPECIALIZED KNOW-HOW & REQUIREMENTS

(2) years Associate in Science Degree in an applied technical field (Electronics/Electricity) OR 5 years field experience as an electrician required BICSI Installer level one certification within (3) years of employment required. Compensation Range $31.00
