Job Description

Sinnissippi Centers is looking for a School Based Supervisor to be responsible for the direct supervision of our School Based Clinicians; this includes training, shadowing and providing licensed supervision. This position will also work directly with students and parents assisting them in meeting the mental health needs of their school communities and developing healthy bonding relationships. Services will be provided on location at school settings as well as in office and other locations to meet the demands and needs of our staff.
Objectives:
Works cooperatively with teachers, guidance counselors, and administrative staff within their assigned buildings including, but not limited to, relaying appropriate information to and from school facilities, and coordinating services within the building. Supervises staff through weekly individual and group supervision, administrative meetings. Reviews paperwork and EMR records for accuracy and growth opportunities. Provides guidance and support on growing and maintaining supervises caseload. Deliver clinical support and review case notes and difficult client situations. Serves as a liaison with case workers, therapists, and school personnel. Coordinates program evaluations and completes required paperwork to meet compliance standards. Provide supervisees with; clinical tools, training; help set goals to improve their performance; accountability; and be a resource for providing clinical tools/insight, training, and establishing goals. May also manage their own caseload, schedule directly with clients and communication with their clients; establish diagnosis, treatment plans, therapeutic goals. Interviews potential clients to assess the need for direct mental health treatment of mental and emotional disorders or referral elsewhere. Provides comprehensive, medically necessary and psychotherapeutic services for individuals to promote personal growth in the form of emotional, cognitive, behavioral and/or psychological changes. Diagnostically assess, formulate and complete the client's Individual Service Plan (ISP) inclusive of diagnosis, goals, and appropriate signatures. Educates clients and their families regarding their diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, and therapeutic process. Identifies, recommends, networks and/or utilizes community resources to facilitate the highest possible mental health and addiction functioning of all assigned clients as needed.Requirements:
Master's Degree from an accredited University or College in Social Work, Psychology or other human service related field. Licensure to provide mental health services, LCPC or LCSW preferred. Demonstrated experience in the treatment of children, adolescents, adults and families; individually and in group modality. Experience in a supervisory role Ability to problem solve complex and possible crisis mental health client problems. Ability to develop and write clear, concise documents involving client outcome reporting requirements. Excellent time management and interviewing skills and an ability to work with autonomy.
