An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description
Responsibilitiess:
. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment . Diagnoses and troubleshoot electrical issues . Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings . Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes . Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on all manufacturing machinery, building and facilities . Maintain a safe and organized work environment Requirements . Must have own tools . Repair mechanical, pneumatic and electrical components using standard hand tools, Gauges and procedures . Installation and inspection of electrical conduit, raceway and busbar systems, per electrical codes. Pull wire and terminate . Adjust parameters in machines, VFDs, and servos using built in faceplate/HMI interface . Troubleshoot and adjust PLC programable Logic control programs AC/DC drives systems and various of computer operated control circuitry (Siemens and Allen Bradley) . Mechanically/Electrically tune and troubleshoot equipment for proper operation . Carry out all repairs in a timely manner promptly to reduce downtime . Perform various activities relative to the installation and relocation of existing machines and equipment, which may involve electrical wiring . Must have at least 5 years' experience in industrial electrical work . Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills . Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards . Valid driving license .
