R D Scientist /

Product Development Scientist Education:

Bachelor's in Scientific discipline + 3-6 years lab experience, OR Master's + 1-2 years experience

Key Responsibilities:

Independently conduct routine and non-routine research, experiments, and method development. Provide technical recommendations and troubleshoot/redesign experimental procedures. Develop and improve products/processes, including identifying alternative methods and technologies. Support biomaterials manufacturability and scale-up from laboratory experiments to manufacturing production. Perform technical feasibility analysis and evaluate experimental results for validity/specification compliance. Work within GxP, GMP, QSR, FDA, and safety/regulatory requirements. Support external testing, including communication, sample shipment, results analysis, scheduling, and documentation. Collaborate cross-functionally and maintain strong laboratory, documentation, writing, and computer skills. Must-Haves 1. Medical Device Product Development experience 2. Lyophilization experience/knowledge 3. Experience with Class II medical devices / FDA 510(k) / PMA 4. Laboratory R D / experimental design experience 5. GMP/QSR/GxP or regulated medical-device environment 6. Experience with method development and/or validation 7. Biomaterials scale-up/manufacturing transfer experience is highly relevant
