Job Description

As an Electrician Maintenance Mechanic, you play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous operation of plant equipment and tools through timely preventive and predictive maintenance. You will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment issues, executing preventive maintenance plans using SAP information, and completing corrective maintenance tasks during shifts. Your role includes maintaining accurate maintenance records, complying with health, environmental, and safety (HES) policies, and conducting patrols to identify any abnormal findings. Additionally, you will prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities and ensure all tools are properly maintained and used.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Repair and maintain plant equipment and tools to ensure continuous operation; Troubleshoot equipment issues and execute preventive maintenance plans using SAP information; Complete corrective maintenance tasks during shifts; Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with health, environmental, and safety (HES) policies; Conduct patrols to identify any abnormal findings; Prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities; Ensure all tools are properly maintained and used; Work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required, including 10-hour shifts and on-call duties; Operate or learn to operate a forklift, scissor-lift, and JLG.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 5-10 years experience Experience and competency with electrical systems and controls, including both electrical and pneumatic; Technical working knowledge of industrial electrical equipment; Experience using multi-meters for checking AC/DC voltages, amperage meters on AC/DC circuits, and meagering of AC/DC motors; Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English to understand written and verbal instructions, SOPs, etc.; Acceptable attendance and performance; Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team; Ability to work independently and self-directed with minimal supervision; Detail-oriented with the ability to demonstrate good record-keeping practices; Ability to read/interpret blueprints and diagrams; Ability to multitask, troubleshoot, and use analytical judgment to plan and perform diversified work, making decisions within prescribed limitations; Ability to work safely in an environment containing hazardous chemicals, high and low-temperature liquids, high-pressure liquids and gases, steam, and moving machinery; General knowledge of shop tools and safe operation; Computer skills required, including knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, and MODA.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient knowledge of other trades (Instrumentation, Plumbing, HVAC/R); SAP experience.
Physical Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and push/pull up to 200 lbs. with assistance; Ability to withstand frequent repetitive movement, stooping, crouching, kneeling, climbing (ladders), and sitting; Ability to climb up to 30 feet; Ability to wear protective clothing (PPE) as required; Ability to work at heights, around moving machinery, and with exposure to noise, vibration, dust, and drafts; Ability to identify color-coded labels; Ability to pass an eye exam, including testing for near vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus; Meet Occupational Demands/Physical Requirement checklist; Hepatitis B vaccine recommended.

$38.00 - $47.00 per hour
